If you’ve visited us at Zweefers, you’ll know how busy we can sometimes be when the shop is full during peak periods.
We’ve created this list of FAQ to help with your enquiry.
- We open from 8.30am–4.00pm Monday – Friday, 8.30am -2.00pm Saturday.
- Closed: Sundays and Public Holidays
Most of our cakes here at Zweefers are made to one of our 3 standard sizes, however square and larges sizes can be ordered for specialty cakes.
Mini Cake: A round cake with a 6” diameter. This will serve 4 – 6 generous dessert sized slices.
Medium Cake: A round cake with an 8” diameter. This will serve 8 – 10 generous dessert sized slices.
Large Cake: A round cake with a 10” diameter. This will serve 14 – 16 generous dessert sized slices.
At this time we are serving takeaway only. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Coronavirus Health Pandemic, our in-store cafe is closed.
Here at Zweefers we use flour daily in the making of our cakes and pastries and although great care is taken with our gluten free products, they may contain traces of gluten. We cannot guarantee they are 100% gluten-free.
As with gluten, we use dairy products in the making of our cakes and pastries daily. Although some of our products may be dairy free, we cannot guarantee that they are 100% dairy free.
Please be aware that nuts are used in our kitchen, and although many of our products may be nut free, they may still contain traces of nuts.
Egg is an ingredient used in most of our products. Although a limited number of our products may be egg free, they may still contain traces of egg.

How can I place an Order?
You can visit us in-store, contact us by phone on 02 4285 4155, or place an order online via our website.
Orders close online 48 hours before pick up, excluding Sundays.
Phone Orders, and In Store pre orders close 1pm the day before pick up, except Monday orders, where orders close 1pm Saturday. There are no order pick ups available on a Sunday as we are closed.
Can I place an order to pick up on the same day?
We have a delicious and large range of cakes, pastries and treats available for you to choose from in-store daily, however our in-store range changes from day to day and we cannot guarantee that we will always have each item available as our cakes sell out quickly!
We encourage all our customers to pre-order your cakes, so you won’t miss out.
All orders from our standard menu must be placed one working day in advance to guarantee that you won’t miss out on your favourite cake.
Orders for special occasion cakes must be made at least 14 days in advance.
Can I order a customised cake?
We are happy to customise our standard menu range with a special message for you. Writing on standard menu range is complimentary.
We also offer special occasion cakes, customised in consultation with you for your next special event.
Do you offer delivery?
Zweefers is happy to offer a delivery service to the Wollongong and Shellharbour Local Government Areas (from Woonona to Shellharbour), Monday to Friday. A delivery fee may apply, with orders cut off 1pm the previous day over the phone (or 1pm on Saturday's for Monday). Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer a set delivery time, however the majority of our deliveries are conducted between 9.30am and 2pm Monday to Friday.
What if I need to cancel my order?We will provide a refund or store credit for cancellation of cakes from our standard menu range where cancellation is made 24 hours prior to collection.
Full payment will be required for cancellation of cakes from our standard menu range with less than 24 hours’ notice.
A 20% cancellation fee will be charged where cancellation of a Special Occasion cake is made within 5-7 days of collection date.
A 50% cancellation fee will be charged where cancellation of a Special Occasion cake is made within 2-5 days of collection date.
Full payment with be required for cancellation of Special Occasion cakes where cancellation occurs with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Any orders cancelled on the day of collection will be unable to be refunded.
What do I do if I have an issue or want to provide feedback?
Customer feedback, both positive and negative, is important to us and helps ensure we continue to provide our customers with the best quality products. If for any reason you have an issue or have feedback with one of our products, please contact us immediately.
Where possible, we request that you bring the item back to us, so that we can return it to our kitchen for a more thorough review. If we have identified an issue with the product, we will be happy to provide a solution for you.
What times can I collect my order?
Order Collection can be made during store opening hours. Collection outside of these times is by prior arrangement only.
Parking / Transport
Zweefers boasts a shared carpark which is available for our customer's convenience.
On street parking is also available on the Princes Highway.
A bus stop is located directly outside Zweefers and we are a short walk from Fairy Meadow Train Station.
